THE CONVERSATION
What are 3 values that you wish to mediate through your work?
Narration of storytelling
The personification of the Main Character Persona in projects
Philosophical principles taking space in every step forward
Aesthetics that speak to my inner child and move in the fine line between luxury and punk rock grudge. The gallery and jazz salons are what I live in, I listen to jazz every day. I’m a jazz enthusiast. I love art. I fell in love with art through fashion. Art is a lifestyle. How everything merges and flows is how I live, it might not make sense how grudge punk meets jazz or classical art meets modern contemporary but I live it. It just makes sense in my life.
What are 3 relevant problems that you wish to solve through your work?
Storytelling of finding timelessness in visionary execution
Building a medium where familiar language is valued by individualistic audiences
Articulation of value in culture and world-building into business strategy
Falling in love with the process, being able to create without caring about if it will make money. Create to make sense in my own life, to see how far I can push my wants. It’s human nature to have wants. For a person to have many wants, gives a reason to push forward every day.
THE ROUTINE
What do you think is the difference between inspiration and influence?
Inspiration is the reference point in theory to understand what is possible. Influence is the execution of personalizing one’s reality.
What/Who influences your work?
Tom Ford, Kanye West, Nick Knight, Carl Jung, Miyamoto Musashi, Bloomberg, Japanese Salary men, Rock & Roll, Vampire Hunter, Berserk, Technologic Occultic Futurism, history, design, meditation, mindfulness
Do you ever question if you are being influenced by the right thing/person?
All the time. Regarding admirable principle traits, I want to absorb them in pursuit of wanting more to life, more for myself.
What are outside influences that you try to avoid in order to protect your creativity?
Negative toxic ideologies and forced narratives that don’t make sense to my personality or future.
This Routine contributes to a new media format, where Creatives are in full control of their narratives. By exploring alternatives to narrative journalism, GAHSP starts unconventional conversations, emphasizing values and problems that shape our lives collectively.
